Yesterday, I started reading the guide book. Therefore, I walked down Uriburu, where I live, to Cementerio de la Recoletta. It is the cemetery, who among other famous Argentinians, has Evita as a resident.
The cemetery or rather The City of Deads is inhabited by generations of families, each living in their own houses. Beautiful spot for pictures.

The cleaning crew has keys to all houses and makes sure they look good for the visitors and inhabitants.
There's even street light.
After the cemetery, I turned left, to what turned out to be a combination of a festival and modern art exhibition. Most of the Buenos Aires youth were there, and so I ended up staying the rest of the day, watching the exhibition, listening to local bands playing concerts and a lecture by an American artist called Jeremy Fish. Unfortunately for the girl sitting next to me, I wasn't aware of my bodily odour after spending the entire day outside in the heat. I ended up leaving to go home for a shower...

Later, I turned left again and ended up in a strange local celebration/competition of dance, drums, singing, splashing with foam and barbecue on the street. It was weird but fun!
